Layer behavior and browser limits
Layers stay fixed in position through one shared display window; they do not track moving subjects. Text wraps within its chosen width. Font rendering uses this device’s fonts and is baked into image artwork for consistent exported appearance. The selection outline is not included in the export.
Transparent image layers remain transparent; their own alpha is multiplied by the opacity setting. Image width changes preserve image proportions. Layers must stay inside the frame. Only the first frame of animated image files is used. Source preview is muted until you enable its audio.
The source is limited to 512 MiB and 8 megapixels. Overlay images are limited to 10 MiB and 20 megapixels; artwork is limited to 32 MiB. Large sources or many layers can exceed browser resources. HDR, corrupt, encrypted and unsupported sources are rejected.
Export re-encodes H.264 video with the first audio track encoded to AAC unless removed. Extra tracks, source descriptive tags and chapters are omitted. Processing is local; original files are not uploaded or changed. Keep this page open while exporting.
