CLIPKIT / ROTATE & FLIP
A fresh perspective.
The right way around.
Fix a sideways recording, mirror a clip or straighten a tilted shot. Your changes are baked into a new MP4 for consistent playback.
Your files
Turn every clip the right way.
Add up to 10 videos. The same turn and flips apply to each displayed source.
Choose files to get started.
A reliable correction
Existing rotation tags are respected first. Your new turn is written into the picture itself, with a checked MP4 ready to play.
A little tilt, a big difference
Use a custom angle to straighten a shot. Expand the canvas to keep the whole frame, or keep dimensions and crop the rotated edges.
Flip with intention
Horizontal mirroring reverses text and left/right positions. Vertical flip turns the picture over. Combine them with rotation, then preview the result.
Transformation order and output quality
The source is first displayed in its recorded orientation, then horizontal/vertical flips are applied, followed by your chosen turn. Quarter turns swap dimensions. Custom angles can expand the canvas or keep its dimensions, which can crop content. Colored corners are opaque in MP4.
Transforms are baked into H.264 video, with the first audio track encoded to AAC unless removed. Re-encoding is lossy. This is a visible picture transformation, not a metadata-only rotation. Extra tracks, subtitles, descriptive tags, attachments and chapters are omitted.
Choose up to 10 files of 512 MiB each. Many common formats work, but encrypted, corrupt, HDR and unsupported codecs are rejected. Expanded canvases above 16 megapixels are rejected. Browser memory can limit long videos; keep this page open. The engine downloads about 31 MiB on first use.
