Capture the right moment

Navigate the video, use an estimated frame step, or enter a specific timestamp. The export is decoded from the source rather than a screen capture.

02 / QUALITY

A usable image

Save compact JPG or PNG with lossless encoding of decoded pixels. Display orientation and proportions are respected; no watermark is added.

03 / PRIVACY

Footage stays with you

Original media is not uploaded or changed. Descriptive source tags are omitted from the image. Review the result before downloading.

Frame timing and unsupported browser playback

Video has discrete frames. A time between frames resolves to an available decoded frame; a frame-step button uses the source’s average frame rate. Near the end, seeking is limited to an estimated last-frame boundary. Requested and seek times are shown with the result.

If the browser cannot play the source, a decoded first-frame poster is shown. Enter another timestamp and capture it to view that moment. The poster remains the first frame, rather than pretending to preview a different time.

Use one video up to 512 MiB. Output frames are limited to 16 megapixels and 128 MiB. HDR, corrupt, encrypted and unsupported codecs are rejected. The shared engine downloads about 31 MiB on first use. Browser resources can limit large sources; keep this page open. For several images, use Frames Extractor.
