Where do the numbers appear?
You choose: bottom center, bottom left, bottom right, top center or top right. Every page gets the same placement with a comfortable margin from the edge.
Can I start numbering from a number other than 1?
Yes — set any starting number. Useful when your PDF is one chapter of a larger document.
Will this change my PDF's content or quality?
No. The numbers are stamped on top of each page; your original content, fonts and images stay exactly as they were.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Numbering happens entirely in your browser with the pdf-lib engine. Your PDF never leaves your device.
What if my PDF is password-protected?
Password-protected PDFs can't be opened by this tool — you'll see a clear message. Remove the password first, then try again.
