How do page ranges work?
Type single pages, ranges, or a mix separated by commas — for example "1-3, 5, 8-10" extracts pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9 and 10 into one new PDF. Page numbers start at 1, and duplicates are removed automatically.
Is there a maximum file size?
Splitting runs entirely in your browser's memory, so keep files under about 100 MB for smooth performance. There is no server-side limit because nothing is uploaded.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your PDF is processed 100% on your device with JavaScript. It is never sent to a server and nothing is stored after you close the page.
Can I split scanned PDFs?
Yes. Splitting works on any PDF — scanned pages are just images inside the file, and they are copied into the new documents exactly as they are.
