Formats & printing tips
Code 128 works well for internal product IDs and inventory. EAN-13 accepts 12 digits (check digit added) or 13 valid digits; EAN-8 uses 7/8; UPC-A uses 11/12. Invalid lengths, characters and check digits are rejected.
Barcodes do not assign a registered retail product number. Use your legitimate assigned EAN/UPC numbers for retail products.
Print at 100% / actual size with browser headers and footers off. Sheets have an 8 mm page margin and 3 mm gaps. Check your printer and label stock with a test page before printing a batch. Barcodes remain black on white with quiet space around the bars.
