Scanning tips & supported codes

Keep the full code in view with some clear space around it. Avoid glare, shadows and motion. For printed labels, move the camera back until all bars are sharp.

Reads QR, Data Matrix, Aztec, PDF417 and common linear formats such as Code 128, Code 39, EAN and UPC. Some damaged or very small codes may need a sharper photo.

Camera scanning stops after one result, when you press Stop, or when the page is hidden. Start it again for the next code. Each successful scan uses the normal 2 tool credits; starting the camera or an unsuccessful scan does not.

Private by design

Your images, barcode values and camera frames stay on your device. No account or camera access is needed for image-file scanning.
