How do line numbers work?
Turn on "Line numbers" and each line gets its number plus your separator (default ". ") placed before your prefix. Change the separator to anything — ) , : , whatever you need.
What does "skip empty lines" do?
Blank lines are left untouched instead of getting the prefix and suffix. Turn it off if you want every single line processed, including empty ones.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser with JavaScript. Your text never leaves your device.
Is there a line limit?
The amount of input this tool can handle depends on available browser memory and the limits shown by the controls. Larger jobs can take longer or fail; try a smaller input if the page becomes slow.
