What is an empty line?
A line with no characters at all. With the default option on, lines containing only spaces or tabs are removed too — those invisible lines are the usual culprits in messy pastes.
Will it merge my paragraphs?
It only deletes fully empty lines, so single line breaks between paragraphs stay. If your paragraphs are separated by two blank lines, one blank line remains between them.
Can I remove just truly blank lines and keep whitespace ones?
Yes — uncheck “Also remove lines with only spaces” and only completely empty lines will be removed.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The whole tool is plain JavaScript running in your browser. Nothing you paste ever leaves your device.
Is there a size limit?
